Prague, 16 October 2006Czech Airlines’ (ČSA) new winter flight schedule is increasing the frequency of flights, especially to destinations in Eastern Europe. After years of significant expansion, ČSA will focus primarily on stabilising the capacity offered, and on increasing the number of flights to promising destinations. The winter flight schedule will apply from 29 October 2006 to 24 March 2007. Compared to the 2005/06 winter flight schedule, ČSA will offer, from October 2006 to March 2007, additional flights to Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Odessa, Tallinn, Vilnius, Sofia, Sarajevo, Ljubljana, Zagreb, and Bucharest. ČSA will fly to Moscow – Sheremetyevo Airport twice daily. New morning flights will be added on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Four flights per week will be added to Zagreb, three to Ljubljana, and one to Bucharest, Sofia, and Tallinn. In terms of long-haul flights, the number of ČSA flights to New York, JFK Airport, will be the same as in the 2005/2006 winter schedule. ČSA service to the US is offered daily.
